| A late 18th Century Swiss cylinder in an unusual gold and enamel filigree case. Unusual full plate gilt keywind movement with resting barrel. Sector shaped cock with polished steel coqueret, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, small brass
escape wheel. Winding through the fully restored white enamel dial, Arabic numerals, gold Breguet hands. The movement housed in the circular gold centre section, its back decorated in dark blue translucent enamel over an engine turned ground surrounded by a band of white enamel. The front bezel set with split pearls. Two outer octagonal frames separated by a row of small pearls, a small gold ring at the top for a chain. Between the frame and
the body of the case delicate gold filigree wire work.
