A late 19th Century Swiss cylinder in a silver case in the form of a coin. Keyless gilt bar movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator. Plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel. The Arabic numerals for the dial painted onto the face of the coin and protected by a glazed gold bezel, gilt hands. Small silver case in the form of two stacked coins with milled edges. The front bearing the motto "Civitas Populus Que Rothomagensis". The clip on silver back with a bust surrounded by the text Lud . X . DG FR . Et Nav . Rex". Silver pendant, gilt bow and winding crown.
