An early 19th Century English lever with three colour gold dial in an attractive gold open face case. Full plate gilt keywind fusee movement. Harrison's maintaining power. Chased and engraved cock inscribed "Detached" on the foot, diamond endstone, blue steel Bosley regulator. Plain three arm steel balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. English table roller lever escapement Fine engine turned gold dial with applied gold Roman numerals on a matted ground. Around the edge a band of applied three colour gold decoration, gilt hands. Substantial 18 carat open face case deeply chased and engraved over the entire surface. Maker's mark "LH" over "JH" and number corresponding to that on the movement.
