Index No. A4824 Gold English Full Hunter
A late 19th Century English lever in a gold full hunter case. Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Engraved cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Screwed in jewelling, English table roller lever escapement. Signed and numbered white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Plain 18 carat full hunter case, an attractive Heraldic shield on the front cover with the motto "Absens non Oblitus". Engraved dedication dated 1899 on the gold cuvette, maker's mark "JT" in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.
