enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Plain 18 carat full hunter case, an attractive Heraldic shield on the front cover with the motto "Absens non Oblitus". Engraved dedication dated 1899 on the gold cuvette, maker's mark "JT" in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.
