Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Straight line club foot lever escapement, escape and lever pivots with endstones in
polished steel settings. Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Small 18 carat full hunter case with engraved middle. The front decorated with a fine oval alpine scene within a fully restored border of dark blue enamel. The back with fully restored floral decoration on a dark blue ground. Wound and set through the signed gold cuvette which bears a small dedication "C.L.A Sept 10th 1859".
