A late 19th Century English centre seconds fusee lever in a silver open face case and fitted morocco box. Gilt three quarter plate keywind movement with fusee and chain. Harrison's maintaining power. Engraved cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. English table roller lever escapement, screwed in jewelling, Numbered white enamel dial with centre seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, gilt hands. Substantial plain silver open face case with gold stop piece and hinges. Monogram engraved on the back cover and inscription "My Nursie" on the silver cuvette, makers mark "CC" and number corresponding to that on the movement. Red morocco covered travelling case lined with purple velvet, an aperture in the front to reveal the dial and an easel stand.
