A late 19th Century Swiss lever watch with fly-back minute and hour hands in a silver gilt case. Gilt split three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel following the contour of the case. Plain cock with polished steel regulator. Compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring, club foot lever escapement. Fully restored signed white enamel dial with Arabic numerals in an arc. The hour numerals in black, the minute numerals and divisions also in black with the exception of 0, 15, 30, 45, and 60 minute markings in red. The blue steel hands move across the dial until they reach the end of their respective periods, when they return instantaneously to zero. Decoratively chased and engraved silver gilt sector shaped case with silver cuvette, wound and set by the gilt button.
