The watch held in a compartment under a hinged deep magnifying glass following the shape of the egg. Silver wire handle. The top section unscrews from the middle to reveal an aneroid barometer, the silvered dial marked "Compensated", rotating bezel. The third section also unscrews to reveal a compass with a mother of pearl dial marked with the cardinal points, rotating to show North. The interior parts of the case gilt bearing London hallmarks and maker's mark "TW" in a rectangle. In a fitted green morocco case lined with velvet bearing the retailer's name.
