An English black dial military stainless steel wrist watch. Gilt split three quarter plate keyless movement, centre seconds work above the plates. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, plain two arm balance with overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Signed black dial with centre seconds, luminous Arabic numerals, luminous hands. Stainless steel case, screw on back with Ministry of Defence broad arrow mark. Hack mechanism to stop the balance while the watch is set to enable the exact synchronisation of a number of watches.
