An early 18th Century Dutch quarter repeating verge in silver pair cases. Deep full plate fire gilt movement, the five slender Egyptian pillars with galleries above. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Pierced and engraved bridge cock foot, plain steel balance. Silver regulator disc on a pierced and engraved plate. Push pendant quarter repeating on a bell in the case. White enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, arcaded minute ring, pierced gilt hands. Silver pair cases, the inner pierced and profusely engraved in a foliate pattern entwined about animals. The outer plain, pierced with numerous graduated holes in a decorative pattern, seven joint hinge.
