A fine 19th Century English verge with three colour gold dial in a decorative gold open face case. Full plate gilt keywind fusee movement. Engraved cock with diamond endstone, polished steel Bosley regulator, plain three arm polished steel balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Winding through the engine turned gold dial, applied three colour gold decoration at the edge and applied gold Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Fine engine turned 18 carat open face case with engine turned middle. Chased and engraved bezels, pendant and decorative cast bow, maker's mark "RD". Together with a Victorian sales invoice bearing a one penney postage stamp.
