An 18th Century English verge with champleve dial in a silver repousse snuff box. Small full plate fire gilt movement with square baluster pillars. Pierced and engraved cock, pierced and engraved foot and plate for the gilt regulator disc. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Wound through the silver champleve dial, unusually marked only "London". Arcaded minute ring, Roman and Arabic numerals, blue steel beetle and poker hands. Fine silver snuff box, with gilt interior. The dial of the watch revealed by opening the small cartouche shaped top cover which bears an applied repousse cameo of two people. The main body of the cartouche shaped box decorated with repousse work in six panels on each half, plain base.
