A fine verge in gold repousse pair cases. Full plate fire gilt movement with pierced and engraved pillars. Pierced and engraved lace edge bridge cock, pierced and engraved plate for the silver regulator disc. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. White enamel dial with arcaded minute ring, Roman and Arabic numerals, pierced gilt hands. Plain gold inner, maker's mark "TW" and London hallmarks. Fine gold (probably 22 carat) outer decorated with repousse in high relief, chased and engraved allegorical scene within a rococo frame.
