A fine small in gold repousse pair cases. Full plate fire gilt movement with square baluster pillars. Pierced and engraved lace edge bridge cock with diamond endstone, pierced and engraved plate for the silver regulator disc. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. White enamel dial, Roman and Arabic numerals, fine blue steel beetle and poker hands. Plain gold inner, maker's mark "HT" and London hallmarks. Fine gold (probably 22 carat) outer decorated with repousse work, chased and engraved scene depicting two figures, one of them Britannia, and St. Pauls Cathedral in the background within a rococo frame.
