A late 18^th Century English verge with centre seconds and offset chapter in a silver open face case. Full plate fire gilt movement with round pillars. Pierced and engraved cock, diamond endstone, silver regulator disc. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Lateral lever to stop the watch acting on the contrate wheel. White enamel dial with centre seconds, offset chapter of Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, gilt hands. Purpose made engine turned silver open face case with engine turned middle hallmarked London 1861.
