A late 19th Century English lever with integral dust cover in a silver open face case. Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel, a dust ring sealing the movement in the case. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. English table roller lever escapement. Signed and numbered white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Plain silver open face case, maker's mark "SS" in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.
