A late 18th Century verge in a silver gilt pair cases with repousse outer and chatelaine. Full plate fire gilt movement with square baluster pillars. Pierced and engraved bridge cock, pierced and engraved plate for the silver regulator disc. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Fully restored signed white enamel dial with gilt decoration, Roman and Arabic numerals, arcaded minute ring, pierced gilt hands. Plain silver gilt inner case, English hallmarks, number corresponding to that on the movement and maker's mark "BN" over "IT". Chased and engraved silver gilt repousse outer case, a classical scene within a rococo frame. Dutch style silver gilt chatelaine with three pierced chased and engraved links and a clip, one spring clip with an openwork seal.
