A late 18^th Century Swiss verge in a fine three colour gold and enamel case. Full plate gilt fusee movement. Finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with steel coqueret, plain three arm balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator dial with gilt indicator. Turned pillars. Winding through the fully restored white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, gold hands. Chased and engraved three colour gold case with a well painted oval polychrome enamel plaque depicting an allegorical scene of two figures and a cherub.
