| A very rare late 16th Century small oval German stackfreed in a plain gold case. Deep oval fire gilt movement with three turned baluster pillars. Open mainspring attached at its outer end to one pillar and covered on one side by a semi-circular plain gilt shield. Eight leaf blue steel pinion driving the gilt wheel
carrying the cam for the stackfreed. Blue steel "C" shaped stackfreed spring with blue steel roller. Plain pierced cock secured by a screw. Small blue steel two arm balance, sliding bristle regulator. Substantial gilt potence to the escape pinion, three wheel train, gilt wheels, steel five leaf pinions. Later gilt dial plate and silver chapter with Roman numerals, later blue steel hand. Plain small gold oval case, plain hinged lid. Later gilt pendant and ring bow.
