A late 19^th Century quarter repeating Swiss lever with a concealed erotic scene in a gold full hunter case. Nickelled three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Slide quarter repeating on two blue steel gongs. White enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. Plain 18 carat red gold full hunter case, gold repeating slide. The cuvette has a false gold cover which opens to reveal an erotic scene on an enamelled gold plate with a line drawn scene of a lake and distant mountains. The polychrome enamel figures of a hunter and young woman engaged in an amorous encounter spring to life when the repeat mechanism is activated.
