A 19th Century English verge made for the Turkish market in gilt metal pair cases. Full plate fire gilt movement, small Egyptian pillars with pierced galleries. Pierced and engraved cock, pierced and engraved foot, silver regulator disc with Turkish markings. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Fully restored signed white enamel dial, Turkish numerals, later gilt hands. Gilt metal pair cases, the bezels of the outer chased and engraved.
