A 20^th Century American lever in a gold half hunter case. Nickelled split three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Plain 9 carat half hunter case with chased and engraved bezels, blue enamel chapter ring, maker's mark "ALD" in a rectangle.
