A mid 19^th Century Swiss lever with engraved gold dial in an engraved open face case. Keywind gilt bar movement with suspended going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, plain three arm steel balance with timing screws, blue steel spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Gold dial, the centre with an engraving of a harbour scene, subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. 18 carat gold open face case, the back profusely engraved and bearing a scene of a girl in a garden with a puppy. Ribbed middle, engraved gold cuvette with a village scene in a large cartouche, the makers name in light blue enamel.
