A mid 19^th Century Swiss lever with parachute and compensation curb retailed by Tobias in a gold and enamel open face case. Richly engraved keywind gilt bar movement with suspended going barrel. Engraved cock with blue steel regulator, bimetallic compensation curb and polished steel parachute. Plain three arm steel balance with timing screws, blue steel spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Fully restored white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Engraved 18 carat open face case, the back decorated with champleve dark and light blue enamel in a geometric pattern. Ribbed middle, signed numbered and engraved gold cuvette.
