An early 19^th Century English verge in a gold inner of a pair case. Full plate fire gilt movement with gilt dust cover, Engraved cock, a bust chased and engraved on the table, large diamond endstone. Silver regulator disc. Polished steel five arm balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, fine pierced gold hands. Plain slim 18 carat inner case, the outer now lacking.
