An early 18th Century French quarter repeating oignon in a silver consular case. Deep full plate gilt fusee movement with turned baluster pillars. Pierced and engraved silver bridge cock with blue steel coqueret, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator dial with blue steel poker indicator hand. Push pendant quarter repeating with a single hammer on a bell in the back of the case. The dial plate supported by four turned pillars. Winding through the white enamel dial with Roman numerals on raised cartouches, Arabic minute markings, pierced gilt hands. Pierced silver consular case decoratively chased and engraved, silver push pendant.
