A late 18^th Century chatelaine in a fitted box. Three graduated dark blue enamel plaques each in engraved white metal mounts and bearing polychrome enamel scenes. The three scenes follow the course of a short story of a girl spinning wool and are in borders set with pastes.

• Diameter 35 x 115 mm
• Condition Excellent but a very small chip on the blue enamel of the smallest piece.
