An early 19^th Century Swiss verge with three colour gold dial in a decorative gem set gold case. Full plate gilt fusee movement. Finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with steel coqueret, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator dial with blue steel indicator. Round pillars. Engine turned gold dial decorated at the edge with applied three colour gold, chapter with Roman numerals, blue steel hands. The 18 carat open face case decorated with three colour gold in a foliate pattern applied to the matted ground and set with turquoise and rubies.
