A mid 19th Century English fusee pocket chronometer in a gold open face case. Gilt half plate keywind movement with fusee and chain. Harrison's maintaining power. Engraved cock with diamond endstone. Heavy compensation balance with freesprung helical blue steel hairspring. Screwed in jewelling, escape pivots with endstones. Earnshaw type spring detent chronometer escapement. White enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Plain 18 carat open face case, maker's mark "WR" and number corresponding to that on the movement.
