Index No. A3905 GOLD ENGLISH FUSEE WITH GOLD DIAL

An early 19th Century English rear wound and set fusee with gold dial in a gold open face case. Full plate gilt keywind fusee movement converted to English table roller lever escapement. Engraved cock, polished steel Bosley regulator, plain three arm gold balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Gold engine turned dial, applied gold Roman numerals on a matted ground, gold hands. Engine turned 18 carat open face case with ribbed middle, reeded pendant and bow, maker's mark "AC" and number corresponding to that on the movement. Wound and set through the gilt cuvette engraved with pair of hands and a horse to indicate the squares.
