A late 18^th Century French verge in a three colour gold consular case. Full plate gilt fusee movement. Finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with steel coqueret, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator dial, blue steel indicator. Round pillars. Fully restored white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, paste set hands. Decorative engraved 18 carat consular case with applied three colour gold work. The scene in an oval cartouche depicting a rabbit and dog beside a wicker basket of fruit.
