A 19th Century Swiss quarter repeating lever chronograph in a decorative gold full hunter case set with diamonds. Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, Uncut bimetallic balance with overcoil hairspring. Push quarter repeating on two polished steel gongs, visible train regulator. White enamel dial with flyback centre seconds chronograph and subsidiary seconds, Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. Frosted 18 carat gold full hunter case, gold cuvette and glazed movement. The back cover plain, the front decorated with chased repousse scene of a couple being watched by cupid. Two large diamonds are set into the cover, one representing the sun.
