An 18th Century English fusee in gold repousse pair cases. Full plate fire gilt movement with square baluster pillars. Later plain cock, pierced and engraved plate for the silver regulator disc. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Well converted to English table roller lever escapement with the addition of Harrison's maintaining power. White enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, gilt hands. 22 carat gold cases, the inner plain with gold swivel pendant and bow, maker's mark "IW". The outer case decorated with a classical scene in chased and engraved repousse work within a rococo frame.
