A late 17th Century English verge with silver champleve dial in silver pair cases. Deep full
plate fire gilt movement, fine
Egyptian pillars with pierced galleries. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup
between the plates. Pierced and
engraved winged cock with mask, diamond endstone in a polished steel setting, pierced and
engraved foot. Plain steel balance,
silver regulator disc. Signed silver champleve dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, blue
steel beetle and poker hands. Plain
silver pair cases, split bezel on the inner and seven joint square hinge on the outer.
