A late 18^th Century French gold and enamel watch with later cylinder movement. Later keywind gilt bar cylinder movement with suspended going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator. plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Winding through the white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, pierced gilt hands. Gold consular case, the bezels with translucent red, green and white cloisonne enamel. Gold back of translucent violet enamel over an engine turned ground. In the centre delicate foliate design on white enamel.
