A late 19th Century Swiss quarter repeating lever with concealed erotic automaton. Nickelled three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Slide quarter repeating on two steel gongs. White enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, pierced gilt hands. Substantial engine turned 18 carat full hunter case with a gold repeating slide in the band. Concealed under the gold cuvette an automated erotic scene, the gilt and painted figures springing to life when the repeat work is activated.
