escapement, escape and detent pivots with endstones in gold settings. Signed silvered dial with subsidiary seconds, Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. The watch movement (diameter 42 mm) fitted into a larger brass bowl with fittings for gimbals and a rotating shutter to the winding hole. This fits in a circular aperture in the later purpose made mahogany deck box.
