A late 19th Century Swiss quarter repeating lever chronograph in an engraved full hunter gold case. Nickelled three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel, the flyback chronograph work above the plate. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Slide quarter repeating on two steel gongs. White enamel dial with centre seconds flyback chronograph, subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hands, gilt hands. Profusely engraved 18 carat, full hunter case, gold slide and chronograph button in the band, maker's mark "D&Cie" in a shield below a sunburst.
