An early 19th French cylinder in a gold and enamel consular case. Keywind gilt bar movement, suspended going barrel with polished steel stopwork. Plain sector shaped cock with polished steel coqueret and regulator. Plain flat three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel. Domed white enamel dial with Roman numerals, gold arrow hands. Gold and enamel consular case consisting only of back and bezel, the movement fitted from the back with the attached gilt metal cuvette. The bezels of the case decorated with fully restored translucent blue, white and gilt enamel. The fully restored back of translucent green enamel over an engine turned ground with gilt border. Rectangular gold pendant and bow.
