A fine late 19th Century lever by Le Roy in a gold and enamel half hunter case. High quality keyless gilt bar movement with going barrel, steel winding wheels with wolf's teeth gearing. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. escape and lever pivots with endstones. White enamel dial with black Roman and red Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. Engine turned 18 carat half hunter case, blue enamel chapter ring with scalloped edge. The back cover decorated with a monogram in dark blue enamel, signed gold cuvette.
