A late 19th Century Swiss lever by Le Coultre in a small open faced gold and enamel case set with diamonds. Keyless gilt bar movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Off white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, blue Roman numerals, the twelve marked in red and the minute divisions in gilt, gilt hands. Attractive small open face case covered in fully restored translucent blue enamel over an engine turned ground. A foliate design in gold continues from the front bezel, across the middle, the back of the watch which is set with diamonds to represent flowers and leaves.
