A late 19^th Century Swiss lever by IWC with digital dial in an unusual silver full hunter case. Keyless gilt split three quarter plate movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator. Uncut bi-metallic balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Signed white enamel dial, central rectangular aperture revealing the digital indication of minutes and above a circular aperture showing the hours. Below these a small subsidiary seconds dial. The minutes change instantaneously as the seconds hand passes 60. Unusual cast silver full hunter case, the lids profuslely decorated, the back bearing a small lion's head at the centre, cast silver bow.
