Index No. A5231 Unusual Gold and Enamel Swiss Hunter
An early 20th Century Swiss lever in an unusual slim gold and enamel full hunter case. Gilt split three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel micrometer regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Signed gilt metal dial with engine turned centre, subsidiary seconds, Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. Fourteen carat gold full hunter case, both lids decorated with panels of light blue translucent enamel over a decoratively engraved ground. Offset on the front cover is a circular intaglio of a young girl with plaited hair in profile, also covered in translucent light blue enamel. Signed gold cuvette.
