A large Swiss centre seconds lever in a nickel open face case with keep case and original cardboard box. Gilt split three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Centre seconds transfer wheel above top plate. Signed and numbered white enamel dial with centre seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Large open face nickel case with a rotating black bezel marked in white Arabic numerals in degrees. This bezel can be locked by means of a knurled nut on the side of the case. Screw back engraved with Ministry arrow mark and "H S4". Rubber lined black composition case with screw bezel mounted on a white perspex base marked "Stores ref. H.S.527-3638". Dovetailed deck fixing with spring clip. Original cardboard box marked "MOD (Navy) - Watch Dashboard" and the serial number of the watch.
