| A 19th Century English verge with a rare polychrome enamel dial with the emblem of the Ancient Order of Foresters in a silver pair cases. Full plate fusee movement with round pillars. Pierced and engraved round masked cock, steel regulator on top plate below the plain three arm steel balance.
White enamel dial Roman numerals, fine pierced gold hands. The central polychrome scene depicting an archer and a hunter in green uniforms with gilt piping flanking a shield. Above a stag and the all seeing eye. Below the figures the motto of the Ancient Order of Foresters , "Unitas Benevolentia et Concordia". Matching silver pair cases, silver oval pendant and bow. Maker's mark "R & S".
