A Swiss lever combined with an aneroid barometer in a gilt metal open face case. Gilt three
quarter plate keyless
movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, Compensation balance
with blue steel
overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Above the movement an aneroid barometer
mechanism connected
to the central hand which indicates the barometric pressure on a silvered scale. Within the
scale a white enamel dial
with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals and blue steel hands. Gilt metal open face
case.

Condition
Case _ _______ Good, recently gilded. Part of the front bezel lacking which would have
recorded the previous
reading on the barometer.
Dial _ _______ Very good, hairline crack.
Movement _ _ Very good, the barometer may not function correctly.
An unusual combination of barometer and watch. The movement is similar to those
produced at the Glasshutte Uhrenfabrik
in Dresden.
