A late 19th Century Swiss minute recording split seconds chronograph in a gold open face case. Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Flyback centre seconds minute recording chronograph work above the plate with the split seconds mechanism superimposed over it. White enamel dial with subsidiaries for continuous seconds and thirty minute record, Arabic numerals. Blue steel hands, gilt hand for the elapsed centre seconds. Plain 14 carat open face case, a monogram engraved on the back cover. Flyback chronograph operated by depressing a button in the crown, the split seconds by a button in the band.
