A large late 18th Century English verge with calendar in silver pair cases. Full plate fire gilt movement with signed and numbered gilt dust cover. Pierced and engraved cock, large red endstone, silver regulator disc. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Signed white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, concentric ring for the date, gold hands. Matching plain silver pair cases, silver pendant and bow, maker's mark "IT" in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.
