A rare mid 19th Century English centre seconds gilt three quarter plate savage two pin keywind movement with going barrel.  Plain cock with steel regulator, plain four arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring.  Savage two pin lever escapement, escape pivots with endstones.  Signed and numbered white enamel dial with centre seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel centre seconds hand, gilt hands.

Excellent but the top balance pivot broken.

A rare movement.  Savage two pin lever escapement was rarely used for centre seconds watches and almost all English watches of this period had fusee and chain.
