A mid 19th Century English gilt half plate keywind spring detent chronometer movement with power reserve indication.  Fusee and chain, Harrison's maintaining power. Plain cock with diamond endstone. Compensation balance with freesprung blue steel helical hairspring. Earnshaw type spring detent chronometer escapement.  White enamel dial with subsidiaries for power reserve and seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, gilt hands. Protected by the centre of an open face case.
